Food was excellent! I’m Mexican American and came here with my Cuban friend and we loved it. My kids loved it! I ordered the bistec de puerco and it was so good.

Not sure how the reviews are so high, I grew up on cuban and Caribbean food and this place was aweful, really poor quality rice and running salty beans, these are basic fundamentals for cuban food, the masas de puerco were fatty, dry and just a few pieces, the tostones were soggy and had a really odd steam like taste to them. overall very poor. Was hoping to like the place as its close to the office.

Pretty good Food! Very authentic to Cuba and the traffic of people coming in dies indicate they do a good job, however the food is even better. Will definitely go back.

Meal was authenticly cuban, but service was minimal at best. Waitress was busy mopping the floor. Tamales were lukewarm, and overall, the meal was not hot enough for me. Preferentially, I would have preferred a better presentation. Very small portions of salad and proteins , overboard on rice portion. You can risk going here because the food is good, not great, and at least it does not deviate from its authenticity . Also feel too expensive for simple cuban entrees. Recommend with prejudice because I am cuban American and have cuban food at a higher standard.

Unpretentious hole in the wall with amazing Caribbean Creole cooking. Reasonable prices since it is not in a high rent area. We came here because we love the name. The restaurant is named after a popular song by that eternal icon of Cuban music, Celia Cruz. (Don’t tell the estate lawyers cause they’ll shut it down). When here in a Friday night 2 hours before they closed. The menu was limited because they were running out of items for the day. This is a great sign because everything had been made fresh that day. I had the grilled chicken breast with onions while my wife had the shrimp in red sauce. Both were really great. Plenty of fried ripe plantains.

Today I went to buy takeaway food in this place, among other things I bought two ajiacos. When I got home the ajiacos had absolutely no meat, just green plantains and corn, it's disappointing.
